It was interesting to see,during the disturbances in N.Ireland that the people who thought they had a point to make wore hoods, covered their face with scarves and dark glasses,really brave.
They obviously haven't got the guts to show their faces and to stand up to be counted.

Well yes, the UK mainland has its "hoodies" too. They have been known to riot on occasion. However, in the NI case, I suspect that the dark glasses and shrouds etc. aren't so much for disguise - everybody knows who they are - but to give the impression of being something they're not.
