Yes, I do understand but that does kinda play into the hands of the BNP is we allow ourselves to draw that conclusion too readily. If we do, then the BNP HAS hijacked our national flag.
I dont think the BNP as a party should be banned BUT I would like them to be stopped from using The Union Flag as their symbol cos its efff all to do with them.

Perhaps, but I suspect most people can look at a bit of British meat with the Union flag on it without associating it with the BNP.

I think there is a good case for not allowing any political party to use a national flag as an emblem, and I don't care if it is right left or centre. No one party can claim to represent the interests of all.

No, maybe not as a party but as a group, yes, their whole ethos is hatred for those of a different colour, which is illegal in this country and on a more basic level, any adult who thinks it acceptible to put women and children in fear for their life is scum, and anybody who supports them in that is scum as well.

Flying the flag, the George cross or the Union Jack.
Should NOT be seen as racist,that is a gross misunderstanding and insulting.
It should be seen for what it is Patriotism, and National pride.Although the shine of pride in your Country, has been all but scrubbed away by some over the years.

Numerous governments here have, over the years eroded nationalism and patriotism, and as they see it separatism..
In favour of being closer, and a part of a more integrated Europe. Together they say with our European neighbours,Which nationalism and patriotism is a threat to.They want to meld together the whole of Europe into one market, bigger market more money,[for a few] more power on the World stage, remember when Gordon Brown said in the Commons how he saved the World.. well the World banks....one state of Europe one President..eventually. One monetary system, we nearly have that already.We will all get taught to speak all the languages of Europe..until we all only speak one language probably, a mixture of all...

She's saying that The BNP hijacking the Union Flag is only part of the problem and that the current mainstream Political parties are making the lack of patriotism worse by constantly looking for the UK to become merely part of a European State.
